Michael Ginthor's ZEN & ZERO tribute to Bruce Brown's 1960 classic "Surf Crazy" will make you salivate for warm water waves. Chock full of flat tires, Federales and buzzards feasting on roadkill, the film is a soulful tale of five Austrians who make a 7,000-mile surf pilgrimage through Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica to Pavones to find Allan Weisbecker of "In Search of Captain Zero" fame. The film swept Best Story and Best Director at the 2006 X-Dance Film Festival.
Sports Basement admission free.
Film tickets $5 or free with $10 store purchase receipt that night per person.
