i'm dying to hit the waves.
i've never surfed before but i've been completely fascinated by the ocean my whole life.
i've recently been falling deeper and deeper in love with nature, and i want to ride that beast of a body we call the pacific.
how does one get started? good spots for beginners? good place to look into boards and suits?
general advice? tips? warnings?
any and all help will be extremely appreciated.
much love,
Loren

Re: where to start...
Mon, June 25, 2007 - 11:41 AMI took a lesson at Lindamar beach in Pacifica...
It's pretty handy that there's a surf shop right on the beach, so you can rent stuff and you don't have to go far to the waves...

Sun, July 1, 2007 - 2:51 PMlindenmar is great. you might even enjoy santa cruez even more. slightly warmer and everyone is a beginner. there is also more than a taco bell around in case you are adventurous.
